We are a publisher that specializes in visually compelling motivational literature. Our publishing model is to provide self-help and inspirational books that are easily accessible to a younger generation. We possess a commitment to strong design and to create highly visual work that we hope will help impact our world.

We are backed by two successful Japanese publishers with a combined total of over 20 years in Japanese publishing. These companies makeup two percent of the entire Japanese market, and are ranked at number eleven in the industry.
We believe that quality literature should reach people all over the world, regardless of borders or race. Therefore we also provide management for international publication, not only of our own books, but for other progressive publishers from Japan as well.

Our president Ayumu Takahashi established One Peace Books is 2006, together with his friends from Sanctuary Books. Our main office is located in Manhattan's east village of New York City. All titles are distributed North America buy Partners Publishers Group, and in Europe by Roundhouse Group.

An end to the persistence of war and the destruction of our environment has not yet come and an unease felt for the future of the human race exists in a great number of people.
It is not just a dream but a profound belief that our books will create an opportunity for change in the hearts of everyone who reads them.
Our wish is not for the cultures of the world to be the same, but rather that all cultures continue to exist individually in respect of each other.
We must awaken the sleeping peace that lies within the hearts of mankind, regardless of our borders, religion, and skin color, in order to connect us all.
To this end, no matter how little, because of our hope to contribute to one world of peace, we named our company One Peace Books.

1994: Currently, CEO of ONE PEACE BOOKS, Ayumu Takahashi, opens a restaurant in Chiba, Japan. Establishes a restaurant chain Sanctuary.
1995: Establishes a Publishing Division within Sanctuary
1998: Sanctuary Publishing becomes independent
2001: Reorganizes to Sanctuary Publishing Co.
2003: Establishes A-Works and reorganizes as A-Works Inc. in the same year.
2005: Establishes A-Works NY Inc. in New York City, and begins publication activities. In the same year, he establishes PLAY EARTH.
2006: Opens a subsidiary cafe bar, FREE FACTORY, in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. Later in the year, opens a bar, Bohemian in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo as the first bar of PLAY EARTH.
2007: ONE PEACE BOOKS is jointly established by Sanctuary Publishing Co. and A-Works Inc.
2008: One Peace Books Inc. enters business agreement with Blu Sky Media Group, a North American distributor. Later the same year One Peace Books Inc. also enters agreement with Roundhouse Group, a United Kingdom based European distributor.
