Jack is on sale! (don't forget the soundtrack!)
Jack the Bastard is now on sale! There is even a soundtrack! Yeah, a soundtrack! It has some pretty big names on it, THE BLACK KEYS and TOWNES VAN ZANDT. Awesome.

We just received a new fantastic review from a great site called, No Flying No tights. Don't you just love that moniker!
“The artwork here is lovely, a mix of realism and impressionism, full of bold ink washes and ephemeral linework that often give the images a sense of fragility and an appropriate dreamlike quality.”

The road-trip movie "DON'T STOP!," starring One Peace Books president Takashi Ayumu and hard-rocking oldster CAP, will make its North American premiere in New York on Thursday, July 26, as part of the Japan Society's film festival JAPAN CUTS.
"DON'T STOP!" tells the story of Ayumu, world traveler and popular author, and CAP, who still dreams of riding a Harley-Davidson down Route 66 in spite of having become confined to a wheelchair after a devastating accident twenty years ago. Accompanied by eleven of their friends, they journey through America in a motor home toward the hallowed highway and the fulfillment of CAP's lifelong dream.
Director Kenji Kohashi will be present for an exclusive Q&A session before the screening, and there will be an after party featuring special DJs and guest musicians, as well as plenty of drinks and snacks to go around. So consider this an invitation to come rock with us at the Japan Society on the evening of Thursday, July 26!

Movie [DON’T STOP!]
DON'T STOP! documents the journey of "CAP," a hard-as-nails 46-year-old man who realizes his lifelong dream, to go to America and ride a Harley down Route 66. CAP's love affair with America and motorcycles began when he was young, but when he was 26, a traffic accident immobilized his left hand and lower body. Over the next 20 years, much of his life has been spent either in bed or in a wheelchair. In a 10-day, 4200 km trip across the U.S., encounters and miracles happen along the way to breathe fresh life into CAP and his friends.

Sometimes we don't agree with reviews and sometimes we think that reviewers really focus on negative criticism. How too often do you hear that “comic book” guy/gal who constantly rips on everything?
But, anyway, that besides the point. Here at One Peace we still feel everyones opinion is valid and should be shared. No matter what.
Here is one.
“Looking at Dreams Around the World through the eyes of children readers, it is a fun, easy-to-relate-to look at the lives of children from other cultures that is sure to reveal something about their own lives as well.”

John at Animenation is one of the best and most thorough reviewers in the biz! He let's you have it straight. We always take his reviews to heart. You can read his review of the Bible below!
“Fans of atypical manga should certainly add The Bible to their library to compliment One Peace Books' growing catalog of unusual, exceptional English translations of Japanese manga.”

Sequential Ink was kind enough to share their review of one of our latest releases, The Bible.
“…a nice, all ages, accessible version to supplement and perhaps even help encourage interest in Christianity in younger people already inclined in that direction.”
