Book Expo of America

The BEA was this week in New York. And OPB being in the city, decided to go as usual and poke around. We found that this year was not much different than the last. It is an event for managers, business people, and the general business that surrounds books. It was definitely not an event for the public. OPB being in the business, however, found out some interesting things about e-books as well as had the opportunity to meet with contacts and distributors. The event all in all is good for suits, but for average readers, I wouldn't recommend recommend it.

Success for Takumi Yamazaki!

A big thanks to everyone who came out to our event on Friday the 6th. It was a big success! Takumi really lit up the crowd with his energized personality and message. Afterward, a select few enjoyed drinks and dinner on the second floor of Amber (a great location BTW). All in all, those who attended reported it was a worthwhile experience. Thanks everyone! I can't tell you how much your support means.
We missed all of you who weren't able to attend. But, there will be lots more OPB events coming soon!
