Would you believe the glowing reviews coming in?

We are hoping that the Japanese medium of “Comic Essay” will be able to gain some acceptance in the west, and so we are publishing “So I Need to Lose 15 Pounds” by Shiho Torii. From the looks of these reviews people seem to really like the idea!

Check it out,

Well we have sent out advanced reader copies for review.
And I'm very happy to report that the first reviews that we have gotten have been good ones! The link for The World's Easiest Astronomy Book review can be found below. We are looking forward to many more glowing reviews to come pouring in over the course of the next few months.
In other news, the final prints of our fall titles have come in, and they look great! Live With Meaning. Die With Passion. in particular looks just great in hardback.
Also a new site design is on its way, so please be on the lookout for a newer, better, and snazzier One Peace Books site in the near future.

Hisashiburi!

Wow, it sure has been a long time since the last update. I guess that's my fault. But sacrifices do sometimes need to be made to stay on top of things and I am pleased to announce things are still right on schedule. The fall releases are still scheduled for September and publicity activities are well on the way.

We have downloadable press releases in PDF format for this fall's five titles on our contact page under PRESS. The releases are already circulating right now. We also printed up about 350 copies of each title as advanced readers for media and book sellers. Those too are starting to make their way out in the world.

So here it is, the beginning of what the world is going to think of One Peace Books.

What's that you say? You love us and want to help get the word out. That's awesome! Please send links or messages to you friends via your favorite method. We have made handy tell-a-friend links that you can access on most pages of this website. You can also find us on Facebook under Ayumu Takahashi and on our One Peace Books My Space page.

Happy New Year!

Last year was an eventful year. We made some big moves to establish One Peace Books in the international scene. What did we do last year? Well, we took the company from handing selling two bilingual titles in New York City at independent shops to setting up a five title line up prepared for international publication. In order to do this, we have secured distribution in North America and Europe. We have designed the books, wrote the descriptions, translated them, and set up marketing and publicity plans. Not to mention, there was the building of this website. There were the trips to the U.S. and Germany. All in all, there was a lot of research and development. However, the challenges are just beginning. Last year was all about setting up the race, now we have to run it. And who are we up against? Well, the entire market, all of it. So, fans out there, looking for you to help support us. Let's make our books known to the world!
